So, I found out who told my neighbour I had committed suicide by hanging...
Not the original source, mind you, I believe this person (also a neighbour) was told this inaccurate rumour by another local gossip.

Since she is not the kind of person that I would immediately assume spends a lot of her time online, I am going to guess that she heard it from someone else in the neighbourhood, to be determined later.

If you doubt that I will get to the bottom of who started this lie, you clearly haven't been paying attention.
Many have told me that I seem OBSESSED with the issue of my name being smeared by curtain-twitching paranoids who have cost us hundreds of thousands of tax dollars.

Rightly so.

Anyone who would ACCEPT being labelled a suicidal pervert needs their head examined.
I can assure you that I won't stop investigating until I have found the origin of this latest nasty piece of bullshit.

As for the person who told the person who told me?

I actually like her and her family, we always share greetings when we see each other.
I've even publicly spoken out on their behalf when some NIMBY Luddites were complaining about the solar panel they installed next to their restaurant.
Her husband once gave me a lift when he saw me waiting for a bus at the side of Metro Road.
I don't believe for a minute that this lady was prematurely reporting my suicidal demise with any malice or joy in her heart....which is why I won't be publishing her name.

As for the person that told her the tittle-tattle?
I don't know, yet....but I plan on finding out.

Rumours of my DeathJust got back from Food Basics, the local grocery store.
A neighbour informed me that there was a nasty rumour going around about me.

Apparently this neighbour (who is one of the GOOD ones) was told that I had committed suicide.
Someone out there in Keswick has been saying that I hanged myself last week....charming.

Who knows? Perhaps this rumour-peddler heard that I was well-hung and got confused.

So I told my neighbour to tell the gossip "That's preposterous! Why would he hang himself after being elected Prime Minister of the Moon?".

It's about as likely as what was being stated as fact.

I had a conversation yesterday, with  that I found highly amusing, I hope you do too.

I love riffing like this with Courtney, she's got a quick wit that don't quit.

So, the chat started after I saw this picture.

I commented on the pic, then posted it to facebook, where I added the comment again, with one additional line for my fb friends.

Here is that comment, followed by the chat with 

When I was a kid they used to call these long hats 'Rat Tails'.
We used them like whips to hit each other with in the playground.
I can still vividly recall the snap and sting of a wet rat-tail...and yet, these days, there are schools banning all BALLS because one person got hit in the face with an inflatable rubber ball.
We used to call these balls 'dodge-balls'. The teachers ENCOURAGED us to throw them at each other.

The laws have recently been amended, increasing fines for infractions committed near schools.


This guy was driving erratically as he passed right in front of a school
Then he sped through a stop sign, not long after the kids had finished for the day.

If the way I was treated BEFORE these new laws were implemented is a measuring post, this person will be drawn and quartered by the local "authorities".

To the YRP: THIS is the reason we pay our taxes.
NOT so you can violate INNOCENT people's rights, but so that you will arrest people that ACTUALLY put innocent people (like me) in danger.

I wonder whether this person who put so many people in danger was even handcuffed.
You know, the way I was after VOLUNTEERING to go to the police station to help clear up the MESS the York Regional Police made by spreading untruthful gossip.

of what you can expect from the local constabulary:

You will be repeatedly stopped by YRP. Your motives and mental state will be questioned.

Cops and GOSSIPS strike againWell, boys and girls, we have ANOTHER story of heavy-handed York Regional Police and NOSY NEIGHBOURS wasting our tax money...or perhaps...two stories.

Let me start by saying I do NOT know all the details about the person who was the focus of police attention yesterday, but from what I can gather from neighbours, this is what happened.

A teenage male had been given a bb gun by his grandfather, and was on his way home with it.
At some point in this journey, the gun was seen in his vehicle by a citizen who phoned the police.
FOUR marked cruisers, including a supervisor, plus an unmarked car, showed up in our neighbourhood to investigate...FI

Standing up against gossip-mongering Catholic School Board members and criminal YRP cops?
You can expect to be tortured, thrown in a cell, and denied legal assistance, followed by years of costly persecution by YRP and YCDSB.
