So it seems that some of the people belonging to the group Keswick Crime Watch on Facebook are intolerant, shocking really.

People making dog-whistle insinuations in the form of a question.

People who should definitely NOT be making opinions based upon appearances making judgement calls about the "Deviant" part of the name DeviantArt.com, and about the "creepy" eyes in my fb ID, that are actually sunflowers...ooh...creepy.

People using imagery of violence and weapons when describing defending myself against attack.

People suggesting that standing up for myself against vile, unsubstantiated allegations should be construed as "harassment".

For the record, ladies and gentlemen of Keswick CrimeWatch, the police never charged me with any crimes.

They lack the courage of conviction, when it comes to saying, with their head held high, the things they'd been muttering in backrooms...
Same as their counterparts in crime, the Catholic School Board.

When it came time to PROVE the vile things they'd been insinuating, these authoritarians suddenly went silent. When given the chance to produce any evidence they hadn't been lying about me, they folded.
No proof was entered into evidence that would justify the way I was mistreated.
After spending vast amounts of your tax-dollars,
they let you, the taxpayer, down.

I mean, you have to believe that either
a) the police FAILED to get a dangerous criminal off the streets
or
b) the police FAILED when they engaged in a costly persecution of an innocent Canadian

Either way you look at it,
you can't argue about one thing...

We can all agree that the police FAILED.

Either way you care to view my claim of innocence in this issue,
I think the police should clean up the mess they made,
don't you?

Keswick ObservationsI never noticed it before...

It was only AFTER I read a number of tweets on the highly entertaining Twitter hashtag list, #KESWICKPROBLEMS, that I became aware of two phenomena that happen on a daily basis at this time of the year.

Many people tweeted about being woken up by, or just hearing, the sounds of rifle-fire in the morning.
Early-morning Duck-Hunters can be heard, trying to bag themselves some waterfowl.

It's one of those 'can't be unheard' things for this Scarborough-born city-dweller.
Now that I know the sound is there, I can't help but hear it, but there is another occurrence that follows the 'pop pop popping' of the hunters.

Tweeting a PigI was looking for information on a robbery that happened yesterday.
I can't tell you where or what was robbed because I'm sworn to secrecy*.
I will say that a neighbour, who's brother is a law enforcement officer, was put in harm's way by an armed man...more on that later, as the information becomes more public.

So, while I was looking for info on this hold-up, I discovered that Joe Fantauzzi, who identifies himself as a "Public safety & justice reporter" is leaving his post.

No longer will we be treated to Joe Fantauzzi making slanderous (libellous?) allegations about runaway underage girls.
