Councillor Dave Szollosy: Straightman

Councillor Szollosy: Straightman

Journal Entry: Fri Mar 16, 2012, 8:34 AM
"Can we do something to make them regular rectangles instead of odd-shaped appendages?" - Councillor Dave Szollosy [link]

Apparently, Dave Szollosy thinks changing the borders of a piece of undesirable property will make it more desirable, despite having little or no building permit opportunity, and restrictions because of environmental protection.
Some of the properties would be difficult to access because they have no road frontages or they have a landlocked status.
Many would require planning approval for development because they don't meet minimum requirements for residential development, according to the article that I provided the link to.

"Can we do something to make them regular rectangles instead of odd-shaped appendages?"

Perfect set-up, Dave....
Since you no longer respond to my queries about your conflict of interest and my defamation by your employer, the Catholic School Board....

Did YOU know that Councillor Dave Szollosy has an odd shaped appendage growing out of his shoulders?

Just kidding, his head is perfectly square.

It's ready for development too...
There's nothing but empty space inside.

Why does Advocate FEAR the Truth?I posted the comment below this paragraph after a story about a ruling by the Ontario Press Council was published in the Georgina Advocate. http://www.yorkregion.com/news/article/1227837--press-council-dismisses-police-complaint
The Georgina Advocate removed the comment, and changed the settings so nobody could contradict their biased take on the ruling....
Here is the opinion they were so frightened you might read that they deleted it, and curtailed any further public dissent:

"We still have a right to hear the full story, reguardless of what yorkregion.com believes is appropriate.
When Constable Styles was asked what happened,

....but I can't help but comment on a mistake that keeps being repeated by the local paper.

Joe Fantauzzi, the reporter who insinuated that an underage run-away was a prostitute, has continually started sentences like this:

"York Regional Police has...."
Or
"York Regional Police is...."
Or
"York Regional Police does not..."

The way I remember it, from PUBLIC school, is this:
if you are talking in the plural, it should be:

"York Regional Police HAVE..."

Journalism is hard, just ask Tracy KibbleHere is a hopefully still ongoing exchange between the Editor of the Georgina Advocate, Tracy Kibble, and I.
This is the e-mail I sent to get the conversation started:

Have you been following the ball ban story coming out of Toronto, Tracy?
Here is today's journal entry, entitled 'Give me balls or give me death' http://keswickpinhead.deviantart.com/journal/Give-me-balls-or-give-me-death-269485172

I find it fascinating how some media deal with officials who overstep their authority in OTHER parts of Canada.

This brave approach is sadly lacking here in Keswick.

Your silence emboldens criminals in positions of power.

Saying nothing ensure
Question HONESTY of AdvocateThe Georgina Advocate recently ran a story about a Keswick man who is facing charges of child pornography. http://www.yorkregion.com/news/article/1309763--georgina-man-arrested-on-child-porn-charges

If this person is, in fact, guilty of the allegations made by the York Regional Police, then I hope the Judge punishes him to the full extent of the law....IF he is guilty.

But here's the thing about the YRP and the Advocate, they don't always get it right, or act in an appropriate manner, when it comes to issues of morality and law and order.

For instance, I believe it was reporter Joe Fantauzzi who gossiped about an underage female, a

His mother wanted a penis?"His mother wanted a pianist" said the '60 Minutes' correspondent and anchor of CBS NEWS.

It sure would have been mortifying for CBS if they had to explain that the mother of Leon Panetta did NOT desire male genitalia.:giggle:

Thankfully, Scott Pelley did NOT get the pronunciation of "pianist" incorrect....unlike the way he pronounced "memento".

It's embarrassing enough that Scott Pelley, a journalist, apparently thinks the word is "MOMENTO", but "His Mom wanted a Dick" would have been TOO funny...unless we're talking about Leon's brother, Richard.

By the way, I don't know if Leon Panetta actually has a brother named Dick, a
Be careful what you agree to"York Regional Police makes no representations, warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, as to the content, sequence, accuracy, reliability, timeliness or completeness of any of the information or data provided herein".

So starts the document before the Crime Map http://www.yrp.ca/crimemap-disclaimer.aspx that I found out about from following @YRP on Twitter.

To that statement I can wholeheartedly attest. From my experience I've concluded the York Regional police take no responsibility for accuracy, reliability, timeliness or completion of any of their duties.

But I will not be looking at the YRP Crime Map, because I would

Humour at OUR EXPENSE

#KeswickProblems How nice that Danny, Dave and Rob can have some amusement at our expense, after all that hard work they did, wasting our cash on a frivolous lawsuit.

What a wise use of tax money, designating a day to celebrate the school that violated my rights repeatedly, apparently, with the Council’s blessing.

Shame.

Something tells me that the comment I made under this article will be removed by the Georgina Advocate, who is not interested in telling the public the truth about what happened to me…but this record will remain, and my calls for an accounting of this incident will not disappear so easily.

Newt Gingrich defines the word "Cheerful"

Why wouldn't Newt Gingrich say the word that best describes him is "cheerful"?
I mean, look at that merry grin.
Those laughing smiling eyes....
He is the embodiment of the word "cheerful".
When you look in the dictionary under "cheerful",
there isn't a picture of him, like you might assume,
just instructions to "see Newt Gingrich in person,
because a picture really can't capture how cheerful
he truly is".

I think we all know someone (politician, boss, celebrity, etc.) to whom this is applicable. If you don't, you might want to look in the mirror.

Grossi Lawsuit Dropped....Geniole Business Shut

Lawsuit Dropped, Business Shut

Journal Entry: Fri Feb 3, 2012, 4:22 AM
Town Council has unanimously voted to drop the frivolous Grossi lawsuit against John McLean. Well...unanimously, with Dave Szollosy ABSENT.
This shit still cost us money.
[link]

Grossi FIASCO Rewrite:thumb281104842:
Instead of wasting taxes on this frivolous lawsuit, Mayor Rob Grossi could have saved us ALL a shitload of money, and saved HIMSELF from the disdain of an angry public by saying this:

"A disgruntled FORMER employee has spoken his piece in this newspaper, as is his right.
Here is my rebuttal...."

If he had done that, he might have weathered the storm.

The Georgina Advocate has NEVER turned the Mayor down when he wanted publicity in the past.

It sure must be nice to be able to dip into the pig-trough of our tax dollars to defend yourself against defamation.
I too have been subjected to ridicule hatred and contempt, Mayor Grossi.
I have also suffered personal embarrassment and humiliation at the hands of the authorities in Georgina and York Region, so I have some questions for the Mayor.

In other news, it looks like Marilyn's Flowers is out of business.
It was partially owned by these two...individuals.

I'd call them former neighbours but what this family did to me was far from neighbourly.
I can't say I'm unhappy their business failed, and I'm sure that's a character flaw, but can you blame me?

Happy Black History Month Eve

Happy Black History Month Eve

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 31, 2012, 10:28 AM
What will YOU be doing at midnight?:D
Or would that be "WHO will you be doing at midnight?"

Black History Month starts tomorrow, the title is a quote from last night's 'The Colbert Report'.

So...if you have as "black" a history as this "white" man's, it's only fitting to celebrate.

Keswick INFAMY, Keith Olberman on Racism Protesthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv8iKzJQ1q8

A link to Keith Olberman, commenting on the Keswick High Protest against RACISM, and unfair charging of the victim.
Well, he said the students were "All dressed alike"...Uh...look at the picture Keith...NONE of them are dressed the same, other than a predominance of BLACK clothes.
Not exactly UNUSUAL in a Public Highschool.
Having said that, he supported the protest, and was obviously shocked at the police CHARGING of the, in HIS words "VICTIM".
Why WAS the victim charged, Detective Duguay?
Because he HAPPENED to have a black belt, and was Asian?
Is THAT the way things run here?

I'm sure it's just a coincidence......but there have been some interesting editorials in the local newspaper lately.

Tracy Kibble just might have taken heed of my criticism, though she'd probably never admit it.

I wrote her on November 17th, and posted a journal on November 19th saying that she was aiding and abetting criminal cops.
