Service Ontario sent a letter to my father, who died in 2003, requesting "re-registration" of his Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) Card.
My mom tried to contact them by telephone, but, as a senior citizen, she was unable to navigate their labarynthine phone system.
So she sent back the form, with "DECEASED AUG 4 2003" across it.
We thought that would be the end of it....

...the idiots sent it back. 

I just left them a strongly worded e-mail, informing them, yet again, that my dead father doesn't much feel like filling in the form they've sent us twice now, so could they please stop wasting our taxes and upsetting my mother.

Hopefully, the message will penetrate their thick fucking skulls this time, but, just in case, I'm going to make this journal entry as available to Ontario Government types as I can.

What a disgusting waste of money.

As the sordid activities of San Diego Mayor Robert Filner emerge, it seems to just get worse and worse.

A 67 year old Grandmother was a recent person to come forward.

San Diegans are saying if farm animals could talk there would be more accusations. 

An attorney for Bob Filner's dog was quoted as saying "My client says "woof" at this time". 

My heart goes out to flood victims in the unfortunately but prophetically named High River Alberta,

 I never would have seen that coming...
...but it is the reason I'm never moving to the mountain town of Gigantic Falling Boulders B.C.

"A high-ranking officer with York Regional Police has avoided a demotion after admitting he left his post as duty officer during a crisis situation to "deliver personal documents" to an individual.
Duty Insp. Chris Bullen, who is also a former president of the Association of Black Law Enforcers, was brought before the tribunal after police video at Aurora headquarters caught him leaving his post during a dangerous barricade situation involving a mentally unstable woman armed with a knife.
Cameras captured him dressed casually in flip-flops, golf shirt and shorts and driving an unmarked police car.

So....Inspector Chris Bullen abandoned his post during an emergency and used tax money to do personal business while out of uniform. Then he concealed his badge number and didn't bring his gun when he finally did decide to return to the job we pay him to do.
 What was the nature of the "personal documents" and the name of the "individual" that he spent our money on?
He used our funds to do it, this information should be ours to see.
We the people have a right to know how our police are acting and how our taxes are being spent.

Was he delivering money to his crack dealer?
Was the "personal document" his penis, and the "individual" his mistress?

Since Jeremy Grimaldi seemingly didn't do follow-up questions, but just reported the statement the cops fed him verbatim, we can only speculate.
I am not insinuating that Inspector Chris Bullen is an illegal drug taking philander, that would just be wrong...
...just like it was wrong when YRP made baseless allegations about me.
I'm just asking the questions that are left unanswered by the York Regional Police statement.

There are times in our not-too-distant past that Inspector Chris Bullen, if he'd been in the military when he deserted his post during an emergency, would have been EXECUTED.
I am merely suggesting his employment as a high ranking officer should be terminated.
He doesn't deserve the title of Law-Enforcement Officer.

If we don't make an example of top cops when they break the law, those under their command will think it's perfectly acceptable to similarly commit crime.

This story, in the Georgina Advocate / Era Banner had two headlines.
'CRUISER CAMS PROVE YOU'RE GUILTY', AND 'CRUISER CAMS CAN PROVE YOUR GUILT'
Both headlines lead me to believe that Metroland Media, the company that publishes the local newspaper, assumed it'll be the public who will be the only ones caught breaking laws by the new video cameras being installed in police cruisers.
Here is my response to the article as first published, detailing what's WRONG about that assumption.
Cruiser cams can not only prove guilt, they can prove innocence. Cameras can not only act as another set of eyes when it becomes an officer's word against that of a driver, but also when it's a citizen's word against a lawbreaking cop.
Evidence gathered from these cameras could (or, at least, SHOULD) be used against police who break the law they've sworn to uphold. A cruiser cam would have been helpful in my case, when "law" office

A neighbour informed me that there was a nasty rumour going around about me.
Apparently this neighbour (who is one of the GOOD ones) was told that I had committed suicide.
Someone out there in Keswick has been saying that I hanged myself last week....charming.
Who knows? Perhaps this rumour-peddler heard that I was well-hung and got confused.
So I told my neighbour to tell the gossip "That's preposterous! Why would he hang himself after being elected Prime Minister of the Moon?".
It's about as likely as what was being stated as fact.
To those involved in this recent tittle-tattle: I'm afraid you're not going to get rid of me that easily.
Wishing doesn't make it so.

Doctor Robert Elgie, lawyer, neurosurgeon and former politician, has died at age 84.

So, very very close to professional, while simultaneously lacking any moral integrity.

So, Robert Elgie is dead, but his story lives on, as a mutated tale, told by rumour-mongers and vicious gossips, at great expense to honest law-abiding tax-payers.

You do know it's not safe to drive so closely behind another vehicle, don't you?
If the driver in front of you had braked you would NEVER have been able to stop in time, considering the speed you were travelling and the proximity to the bumper in front of you.


She was up so close to the truck in front of her, it was like a dog nosing another dog's ass.
I would have thought that police officers like her would want to set an example and NOT tailgate.

The young man screwed up royally, to be sure, but it was an ACCIDENT by any account revealed so-far to the public.
An accident that Garret Styles may well have played a part in.

Should we, the taxpayers, foot the bill for taking care of the underage driver's voluminous medical needs in a prison setting?

Trevor Middleton planned and carried out a violent racist attack using a vehicle, yet I can't remember any calls in the media from police to have HIM charged with attempted murder.

Why not?

It seems to me that the lesson that will be learned by the population at large is this:
The police around here value their own safety, while caring little for ours.

Is that really the message we, here in York Region, want to be sending out to the world?

Before we condemn a quadriplegic for the crime of homicide, maybe we should all wait to hear what the THREE SURVIVING WITNESSES saw and heard.

I also think it would do the community a greater service to have this crippled* kid out among his peers, where they can see the result of his actions daily.
Perhaps it would serve as a warning to others not to drive while impaired.

As for Trevor Middleton...less than two years for destroying so many lives?

Premier Dalton McGuinty made a public appearance at a Catholic School in York Region to reveal that Ontario was going to increase school security budgets by ten million dollars.
The tax money will go to all schools, not just Catholic ones, of course, but it's the optics that are an issue.

The Premier* seems to be saying to the public that he thinks it's a good idea to reward the same school board that wasted hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars with their phony fear of 'harassment' claims.
All the time and effort, all the might and money of the government, nothing couldn't make their allegations stick.
They had a chance to provide evidence to the court that they weren't lying, and despite all the cash and resources, the government FAILED to prove any of the slanderous lies the Catholic School Board was spreading.
They couldn't find anything in my past, nor have they found any evidence to support their filthy claims since they first lied about me, back in 2007.
Past, Present, and Future....they found ZERO, and you have to believe that a crowd that persecutes people based upon innuendo would have had no problems using ACTUAL evidence against me or anyone else.
So shocking that the government couldn't find a shred of evidence, almost like it never existed in the first place.
